I think Vince hates managers because he considers them outdated. Vince really wants nothing to do with certain staples of pro wrestling, which is why he hates managers/valets & tag teams.

It’s one thing I think they are outdated but why not evolve the manager role instead of getting rid of it all together. Some guys need them. It’s weird the things he hates managers, last names, commentators actually calling the match, the term wrestler and fans and belts. None of those terms he is forcing is ever going to get over.
