I never liked this video when it dropped. I was 17 and felt it was a different sound. Too big time for Mobb deep.

Then I grew up.

Why I loved it a few years later and now?
- Scarface sample flip
- hood hustlers to riches
- 10 + model chicks
- Havoc, Prodigy, Nas - all have scenes in the party.....then completely alone. Powerful.
- Hype Williams epic video
- I wonder how much the budget was?
If Busta's videos cost millions this was prolly over $300,000?

And Nas' verse is more meaningful than any self proclaimed conscious rapper that ends up being a hypocrite a few years later.

There are crazy jewels in thug and hardcore rap. I always thought it was more authentic than rappers that tried to be too clean.

This video is a triumph.
