Oh, for sure. MLB Network should be airing games at 6:30/7pm and 9:30/10pm every night to be honest. Baseball needs as much eyes on it as possible.

Problem is, MLB Net isnt on every cable system. I know its not on Youtube TV, cause I would be watching if it was.
I didn't even think about YoutubeTV/Roku/Philo definitely with grabbing their content back they need to lease the network to all of those.

Fox isnt a good partner. During the pennant race (August, September) and the playoffs, Fox already has football locked in on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

TNT/TBS is the best option since they arent tied to big time college football or NFL football in the fall.
I mentioned Warner in the MLB thread. I agree, they need to jump all over the baseball opportunity. I'm just saying the Network itself leased out they can replace losing the ESPN days.
Problem is, MLB wants broadcast TV or Streaming or both

They seem good with current cable with WBD (Turner).

Turner doesn’t have broadcast.

But Warner has Max.

MLB should just make TruTV their cable hub since that's what Turner really wants TruTV to be.

FOX will do the Saturday games and if they want a Sunday night game it can be on TruTV even though teams hate Sunday Night Baseball now.

As long as T-Mobile still offers the MLB package for free, fans shouldn't worry too much.

I know this is wishful thinking, but Manfred has a chance to do something interesting as fukk right now.

He could make MLB Network an over the air/free channel on Tubi/Roku/etc and broadcast their primetime games themselves. They'd need to do all of the ad sells on their own, but if they let the teams do their regional deals and take over the prime time games they could cut out the network middle men.

Bring back a Baseball Tonight style show on their own. I genuinely think that ESPN ruins sports for fans. The only reason they play nice with the NFL is because they got taught some lessons.
This is a great idea

They need to pivot to YouTube. I’m sure they have a YouTube channel, put at least one game every day on there and call it the MLB Game of the Day and have the live chat on, watch the views pile in.

You can even do a subscription based model on there so that people can watch replays. Most people watch YouTube more than tv anyways and watching YouTube on tv just beat out watching on your phone tablet or computer for the first time last year
