I don't know if anybody's fallen this hard from the main-event scene. Seriously.
Two years ago, he main-evented Mania in one of the wackest MEs ever... but to his credit, went over and had this great video package about how he stepped up from being the least-expected to the top of the company. He legit improved through the years and got to that level, and it's hard to really take that away from him.
BUT...
a year later, he got funneled into the 12-man tag, but in fairness he got the deciding pin... but even then, it was acknowledged that just the previous year he was the champ who main-evented...
BUT THIS YEAR...
Not only is he not working as a face, not only does his association with Flair have absolutely NOBODY buying it, not only has his character gotten increasingly annoying and not in a good heel way, not only has he become a quintessential midcarder... but now, he's wrestling the PRE-SHOW of Mania for the IC title. I don't know if that speaks volumes about how little the E cares about the IC title these days, how unover the IC champion is, or how hard Miz has fallen the fukk off in 2 years- but I'm leaning more toward option 3.
I can't think of another champ/WM main eventer who fell that hard down the ladder in such a short time.

@ "known racist" tho'... he was a dumb kid who listened to what his dumb uncle said until he actually met real Black people. I can't say he's a racist for that, no

Just sayin' bruh... unless he himself in his own independent thinking has ever said anything racist, then how is he a "known racist"... it ain't that serious.
