It’s not really a strange take. Mike calls himself a piece of shyt all the time, especially on his podcast. He’s aware that shyt he isn’t proud of (his history of domestic abuse, being a convicted rapist/registered sex offender, drug addiction) is part of his legacy too. He just doesn’t think highly of himself overall and doesn’t want to be thought of as a “great” person.
