In sum:

-Man has loud angry phone conversation prompting neighbor to call police
-Police make no arrests, but enter the every-ambiguous claim of "smelling weed" and report it to Child Protective Services
-CPS accuses said man of smoking marijuana in front of son, which is denied
-CPS subsequently shows up with police to remove child, again entirely based on claim by police officer that "it smelled like pot"
-Agitated man evidently has a knife, and gets shot by police in front of the kid

Yep really helping that "endangered" child by killing his dad in front of him right? No surprise police found their own guy innocent either.

The paper reports that she was "baffled" that "authorities attempted to take his son after tests indicated there was no marijuana or alcohol involved." (Post-mortem toxicology likewise found no traces of marijuana or alcohol—puzzling in light of the claim by police that Reddie "admitted to having smoked marijuana that morning."

The scumbag DA took it upon himself, ON HEARSAY, to execute a warrant to kidnap a man's child, over a rumor. They should be all held on conspiracy of murder.

Only if I had over a million dollars.. situations like this and revenge for them would be my form of philanthropy.

Situations like this are exactly why citizens need to be armed. For purposes of self defense against the criminal element both GOVERNMENT and civilian.

A moment such as that would have ended beautifully had the man killed all officers that entered his home to take his child, AND later been cleared by a constitionally inclinded judge. . . Would have been a real tear-jerker of a story lol.

you should take the case:smile:

All those Ron Paul fuks in those other threads should be in here where REAL crap is actually happening. If this guys family had money or were otherwise wealthy heads would roll. There needs to be a slimeball lawyer seeing that would want to sue if only to make a buck.

I'm not sure how it is in Michigan, but you've got seriously violate someones Civil Rights in NYS to try and sue any peace officer; almost everything in the scope of their duties is protected by law.

you could sue for wrongful death. May not win but they might settle :manny: happens all the tim ehere in Arizona. They don't go after the officer in most cases but the "policy" itself. No criminal action in most cases but at lesat the family would get something.

I'd like to think so in a situation like that. But I was moreso trying to make the point that our attitudes as citizens in this country should be one where we are farrr more constitutionally conscious, and completely unafraid to challange authority. It should be where we see cops violating the 4th amendment and we instantly view them as the criminals, and as citizens are unhinged in treating them as such. This is important if we are to have a governemnt of true checks and balances, our overall political attitude, that is.

meta lame can't even lift himself out of poverty

I'm poor? . . . Really? Why dont you just shut your hoe ass up.
