Steele presided over a tidal wave election where the Republicans won some 60 seats to take the House, almost took the Senate too. Priebus presided over a 8 seat loss in the House, lost the presidential election, and lost 2 seats in the Senate. I'd say Steele has a point. Payback is a mutha!

Black is back, all in we're gonna win. Check it out, yeah yall, come on. Here we go again!

Steele was an affirmative action hire if there ever was one. They elevated him IMMEDIATELY in the wake of Obama's '08 election, as if to communicate 'welp, we got us a niqqer too now get off our back!". The reactionary tone of his blink-and-you'll miss-in ascension was too transparent.

Steele had a serious chance to be the curator in re-orienting the party to a more moderate, and most importantly inclusive, collective. He forever lost that agency, when he initially popped sht to King Rush and then apologized. His leadership capital was pretty much impotent status after that, and he was positioned as sitting duck status.
