It is still very common for true actors/filmmakers, and really is the most vital part of the process and it always shows in the actors performances. If you ever come away with the feeling after watching a film that the actors played really well off of each other, or they felt really authentic, its almost guranteed that they dedicated time (weeks, even months) to rehearsals.

its like youd think with them shytty movies that if theyd do a walk through and rehearse theyd realize shyt that dont work and the script is dumb
