Of course the white boys defending Conor and MMA and Michael Jai is keeping it real about boxers vs. MMA fighters

They're throwing hypotheticals like "What if Conor forgets where he is and kicks him in the head"

While there's a very slim chance of Conor winning, I don't think this statement makes any sense. Floyd isn't an MMA fighter and isn't equipped to being kicked. Kicking is part of what Conor does.

If they allowed kicks obviously his chances to beat floyd in a fight are higher....but that should be obvious.

What he's saying is that punches are usually faster and easier to throw than throwing a kick. With someone like Floyd who has reflexes like Floyd, if he sees your punches coming then most likely he can see a kick coming especially if its a certain kick from a certain distance

i.e. "that means he gets DQ'd"

I agree with MJW that Floyd probably isn't going to knock him out; not necessarily bc Conner is the bigger fighter but more so bc Floyd is old and has them brittle hands. So he'll likely just jab and pot-shot McGregor in the face and stomach for 12 rounds.

The only question i have is whether Connor will gas out within the first 3 rounds. If he does, then it'll be interesting to see how a completely spent and in over his head amateur deals with being pot-shot in the face and gut for 8-9 straight rounds.

MJW said a lot of smart stuff but what he says about Floyd is true...

Conor might be slightly bigger and Floyd hasn't KO'd anyone in forever... BUT, Conor has probably never fought anyone like Floyd that can catch you at the right moments like Floyd and has thrown his punches a million more times than any MMA fighter he's ever faced combined.

Conor has what... Like 15 professional fights... Maybe less... While Floyd has 49 professional boxing matches over a 20-25 year span... All boxing and all against quality boxers. Thats a lot of punches thrown.

Its like what Bruce lee said as well... You can throw the same kick 500 times a day everyday for 10 years and if anything you will be a master of that one kick. Well Floyd has thrown every punch hundreds and thousands of times everyday over the course of 20 years... Dude is god level at every single boxing punch.

So he might not KO Conor since thats not his style BUT I do believe that Conor will be rocked a few times even if he's bigger ESPECIALLY if he gasses out at somepoint.

But we'll see, I haven't completely thrown Conor in the bushes because anything can happen.
