MJ catches flack for not playing instruments, but he was a brilliant composer, the entire industry knew it behind the scenes, people at home (us) just saw the singing and dancing, but he composed most of his music which is why it has that "organic" sound and feel to it that hasn't been replicated and doesn't sound dated
