i remember exactly where i was.
during summer workouts in the weightroom for football, HELLA people, because all 4 teams were there(freshmen a team and b team, sophomore team and varsity n shyt), someone just runs in and says "brehs michael jackson died!".
EVERYONE literally stopped, all talking and the sounds of the machines n shyt just cut off. all the homies in straight disbelief

Just got off work, at the mall buying some dress shirts. My boy calls me like you heard?????? I'm like what??? MJ Died.
I swear to God i was stunned for a good 30 minutes just stood there in a daze at the store. shyt sound dramatic, but i'm telling yall my honest reaction.
The whole way home it felt surreal brehs. Watched CNN for 12 hours just
the whole time.
The memorial the following week when they played this
My coworker and good friend was on his laptop watching this at his deks too and I swear brehs we both had red eyes from tears I refuse to believe this won't make you cry.

Truth be told, I don't even remember how I heard the news. I just remember disbelief and watching tons of CNN afterward.
