Got to meet Lanny Poffo at a con this weekend. Was interesting to talk with him for a bit. He talked about Macho not getting into the HOF and that Randy didn’t care. Said Randy said “fukk em” about it. After he died Lanny felt it wasn’t fair to all the fans of Randy not to go along with putting him in. He insinuated that Pat Patterson had something to do with keeping him out. Definite heat there. Also talked a bit about how Mach wanted to work with Shawn Michaels at the end of his WWF run and that they didn’t let it happen. Said Randy wanted it to be as great as the Steamboat match. That the match from wrestlemainia 3 haunted Randy.
