It's not cool given their relationship but snitching would be the only way out. Odogg took the tape so it would have been an unsolved cold case if Chauncey wouldn't have sent the tape in. If I learned anything from first 48, it's that if you were with the criminal and didn't do anything, you're still a part of the crime if you don't tell
