Quit the self righteous bullshyt.
A woman can provoke you to the point that you want to whip her ass. Some women purposely do so. They will get all in your face, and they will even put their hands on you. Instinctively, you will walk away. But if you have to consistently deal with this woman (ie, your wife) you will eventually slip up and go upside her head. I'm not condoning it, but I do recognize that it happens. What's messed up is that a woman can abuse a man physically, mentally, and emotionally all throughout a relationship, but if he just touches her once, he is labeled a woman beater.
ive never hit a woman. but i was once in a relationship where i realize that the chick was just a manipulative person. i started charging towards her and something clicked in my head. i stopped midway, walked out the door and never talked to or seen her again.

I had a short term relationship with this dude who would provoke arguments with me to just to see if i would lay hands on him. He thought it would be funny to get me riled up like that until i grabbed him by his neck and pushed his head thru the window. I broke up with him after that, i couldn't be with someone i have to hit for any reason.
Point being tho...most broads like to push dudes just so they can get hit then cry foul. It ain't right but it happens and it puts the dudes in a fukked up spot especially if the police is called and charges are filed. Its best to walk away from the relationship if a broad tries you, p*ssy ain't worth it brehs.

Women shouldn't try to physical intimidate men ever, unless they really want a physical confrontation. I'm from the old south, I don't even let women scream at me. I wouldn't want to hit a woman, but I will. Here's a few reasons.
1) If my girl or in one I love is getting beat up, I'm all in.
2) A female acting like a man, trying to physical intimidate me, we're going to see how much of a men she is.
