Men not hitting women has nothing to do with rights or who deserves what.

if a woman hits u hard enough that it actually requires some physical retaliation, it probably means that u missed her opportunity to check her at some previous point. one strong grab or stern lecture at the first instance of her trying to get physical should be enough to make sure she wont try that again
