Men: Do you practice chivalry (open door, give up seats)?

A certain Willie D song just popped in my mind today (old school Geto Boys fans know which one). And it sparked this question. I'll be honest. Sometimes I don't. I was at a conference this summer and the room was jam packed. And the speaker said "I know the fellas are going to give up their seats for the ladies. I was tired so I thought to myself . And just sat there. Now, I do open doors (though to be honest, it might be for selfish reasons to check a woman out). I don't open car doors except for this one friend of mine who literally will sit there until you open her door. What about you? And ladies are you the type who will sit there until the car door is open for you?

It was ingrained in me at an early age. I ALWAYS had to open the door for my sisters and all that jazz so for the most part I do. It doesn't really hurt to be a gentleman

I have absolutely no problem acting chivalrous for a "lady".

Been doing it since childhood but ladies (and people, as a whole) nowadays make me think of those acts are bushes-worthy.

I regularly help people whenever I can. No biggie. I don't do it for chivalry, I just do it.

if you're in the right position, open a door for somebody, who cares who it is

but when they don't thank you, be sure to trip them from behind as they walk through the doorway

Same here, just how I was raised. Pays off too when you wanta real woman with class. My wife has hardly ever opened a door.
