Monday's WWE RAW Supershow drew a 3.17 rating with 4.42 million viewers, virtually even with the previous week. Considering the fact that RAW was up against the MLB Home Run Derby (4.79 rating and 6.88 million viewers), the rating is considered a strong showing for WWE and a good sign of momentum headed into Sunday's Money in the Bank pay-per-view.

Digging deeper into the numbers, A.J. Lee proved to be a big ratings draw for WWE, with the overrun segment featuring her decision of "who she was going to marry" gained 711,000 viewers. Considering the fact that the segment featured CM Punk (typically not big a ratings draw) and no John Cena, this is great news for WWE. Even more noteworthy is that the teenage male demographic, which has been hurting badly this year, saw a major spike during the overrun.

lol, you forgot to put this part though
It appears it's the wedding gimmick that helped ratings since AJ, Punk nor Bryan made ratings jump in the Male Teens demographic during their opening interview segment or during any other week in this storyline.

Meltzer is a mark for AJ. No mention of Bryan though. :heh:

Hey wrestlefag,

Next time you decide to change shyt around to protect certain wrestlers and promote your own biases, try not to have the sentences you change/add contain obvious typos. Otherwise it makes your typical dishonesty even more obvious, don't you agree, you fukking idiot?

This diluted Punk is terrible though. Shoot promo turned out to do more worse than good to his character, in hindsight. Now he's simpin' over AJ where a year ago he would have encouraged her to dive through that table  Take the strap off him, send him away, and have him come back in full heel mode, no tweener shyt. Hell, him and Blandy as heel RAW/SD champs would be somewhat intriguing to me. :yeshrug:

such a draw that the ratings remain the same

wwe is now HAPPY to be slightly above a 3.0

fukking pathetic

This is the problems with these dumb ass ratings analysis, shyt is literally the same or .1 higher and the system is so shaky and they try to point at it as a reliable stat.

Punk needs to go as champ, but the ratings have nothing to do with that reason. It's just tired.

Better than being under 3.0 w/ Big Show as the focus :yeshrug:

People like crazy soap operas more than wrestling :skip:
