There is a very good chance that Ronda Rousey will be finishing up with WWE at WrestleMania.

If that’s the case, she would likely put Becky Lynch over more likely then Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania, given that would be what the fans would want.

There was a decent amount of talk this past week internally, since we heard it from several people, that Rousey would finish up at WrestleMania.

That may not be decided as that aspect is just the feeling people had since it’s the logical ending everyone came to based on the situation.

As of today, this was the plan.

Rousey has always talked about WWE as a temporary thing, and her long-term thing was to start a family with husband Travis Browne and live on her farm. This has been known for some time and Rousey very much wants to start a family soon.

It was always pretty much known it would be after this year’s WrestleMania because she made close to a full-time commitment for one year to WWE, even though it was announced at the time she signed a multi-year full-time contract.

Right now, there is no hard and firm last day, but the working idea, which has been the case since January 2018, is that Mania 2019 is the finishing date. The discussion right now is whether Mania is it, or maybe she does the PPV after Mania. We’ve been through enough Brock Lesnar situations to know that Vince McMahon, come the last week, will make great offers and change finishes to shock people, especially at WrestleMania.

But because we are close to Mania and Mania could be her last date, that’s why so many people are starting to talk about it. That’s another reason why the three-way instead of Rousey vs. Lynch as a single makes the most sense for Mania, because you want both Flair and Lynch to have that spot going forward as being the first women to headline a WrestleMania show.

Whether they can come back with Rousey vs. Lynch in a single as her last match would be the question. She will probably remain affiliated with the company afterwards. It’s certainly possible for her to have a role like Undertaker or John Cena or others where she comes back at times.
