Can you imagine how uncomfortable Mel was during this photo?
He's getting roles in wide release, studio films. It's been over a decade since that's happened. Is he back though......serios question.....i havent heard of him since apocalypto/passion days.
did he drop some piff recently.....
No it didn't happen before social media. His whole thing happened before the social media wave, which could've made his situation worse.
I know who mel is and was, dude was huge and extremely likable which probably saved him...but tmz been around for a while but social media isn't what it is now, so if his drunk tape dropped today the impact would be more severe. Either way he was blacklisted for a while and slowly made a comeback. No it didn't happen before social media.
TMZ aired out the drunk arrest shyt with the jews and sugar t*ts
his ex wife aired out fukked by blacks shyt using social media
That said hard to say he has made it back, I don't think some of you are old enough to know where Mel Gibson used to be.
All the broadcasts were huge, bigger than social media because that shyt was all over the internet and mainstream news worldwide.I know who mel is and was, dude was huge and extremely likable which probably saved him...but tmz been around for a while but social media isn't what it is now, so if his drunk tape dropped today the impact would be more severe. Got nominated for best director, that's pretty huge by Hollywood standards. He'll never be who he was, has also old and lost his looks that doesn't help so yeah he was definitely hurt by the two incidents but now directing movies and being in major movies even if it's a cameo is still a come back. All the broadcasts were huge, bigger than social media because that shyt was all over the internet and mainstream news worldwide.
the fact that he is playing a bit part in a comedy and doing straight to DVD shyt, acting wise shows you he isn't anywhere close to being back.
Hacksaw ridge did help him big time though.
