There’s still a lot of confusion across the nation about whether or not marijuana is effective for cancer patients. Odds are you’ve heard something about it but weren’t sure whether the information was reliable or definitive. So, in order to help clear things up, here is a list of 25 studies showing that marijuana cures cancer, categorized by the type of cancers being cured in each study. As you sort through the articles, note that the consistent theme between them is that cannabis shrinks tumors and selectively targets cancer cells. As bills and voter initiatives to legalize medical marijuana spread from state to state, remember that we’re not just talking about mitigating the side effects of chemo (though this is another viable use), we’re talking about curing the cancer itself as well as preventing its spread. Our results show that both Δ9-tetrahydrocannabinol, the most abundant and potent cannabinoid in marijuana, and JWH-133, a non-psychotropic CB2 receptor-selective agonist, reduce tumor growth, tumor number, and the amount/severity of lung metastases in MMTV-neu mice. Histological analyses of the tumors revealed that cannabinoids inhibit cancer cell proliferation, induce cancer cell apoptosis, and impair tumor angiogenesis. Cannabinoid antitumoral action relies, at least partially, on the inhibition of the pro-tumorigenic Akt pathway. We also found that 91% of ErbB2-positive tumors express the non-psychotropic cannabinoid receptor CB2.


and of course, thanks to the DEA we can't test this shyt on humans, which I think they're currently being sued for right now. It would be a great irony if cannabis was actually the cure to cancer. I know at the very least it can help reduce tumor size/growth.

USA Propaganda is like no other. These devils also lockup nikkas to break up the black family... we all know the effects of that. Then they profit off of us while we locked up (prison labor) and afterwards (probation/house arrest/programs).

Skeptical obviously.. but at least there is evidence for anti-tumoral effects of Cannabis so, it's possible it works maybe best if used WITH standard treatments for cancer (like radiation).

Yep, just propaganda, they didn't even use any scientific controls for their study. Of course they choose testicular cancer to scare guys, yet the cancer they say it "may" cause is a form of cancer that accounts for .01% of all testicular cancer cases.
