I read this press release and nearly puked

shyt was also present all throughout Captain America and the Winter Soldier

I want the story to be about the actual plot, and the character's identity can be a part of that but I don't want it to be the focus with a lightbulb

It was especially egregious in CA&WS because it was some soft shoe shyt

Is this the new standard or just this era?

I don't care about him being gay, I care about it being the focus of the press release and his series

The same way I hate how they handled Sam and Isiah Bradley(yeah America did evil shyt but let's wrap it up in a neat little bow because the focus is on Sam and we gotta show that Captain America and his country ultimately stands for peace)
