Problem is Mayweather beat them all Cotto, Manny, even the future Canelo....Nobody is gonna be as interested in buying ppv's, not to mention any ppv after Manny Mayweather would be a monumental flop....As far as Thuman goes, Mayweather needs a boogeyman for later down to sell a big money fight , Thurman disappointed and aint quite that yet

Yea I was originally thinking that too. Are they just putting the possibility of him fighting on CBS out there just to get feelers on it? Finish out this Showtime PPV contract with a filler joint just to end it, since anything after the Pacquiao is a "failure"? Mayweather/Khan as the 50th fight on CBS in May for the maximum amount of exposure and less primetime competition?

Makes sense to me. :ehh:
