russia actually appreciate boxing craft a lot more than americans. its why they are producing so many great fighters right now. america used to be the mecca of boxing technique. nowadays not so much. cubans and russians are a lot more schooled nowadays than american fighters.

The best boxing minds in the sport still exist in the U.S. The problem is with the lack dedication to developing amateurs that we have today compared to years past...as well as having a smaller pool of talent to draw from because of boxing not being as attractive a sport to the youth as it was 30-40 years on back...
There are practically no successful Eastern European PRO trainers...
Not at all my nig...two different schools of boxing that teach & produce vastly different styles and techniques.
The problem isn't lack of dedication, but more like having ample opportunities to play other sports.
