It's a fine French sauce with a storied history. It's a foundational element of French (and as a result Western) cooking. I understand that American white trash push mayo use too far sometimes, but the Coli needs to look at this issue in a historical context and show mayonnaise a bit of respect. I don't any threads slamming buerre blanc or béarnaise. Stop thinking mayonnaise is just some pig slathering hellman's on an ear of corn. It has legit culinary purposes and should be respected as such

Yes, I am white but that shouldn't matter. It's what I'm saying that counts. :upsetfavre:

But by nature sauces are disrespectful to foods themselves. Nothing worse than making a rub for ribs or steak only for some a$$hole to slather bbq sauce or A1 over them joints. Same for chicken and the uncivilized fukks who drown it in ranch.

Agreed. Overuse and misuse of sauces is big problem. I once saw this one son of a bytch put ketchup on pasta. :scust:

The same ppl that diss it probably eat chicken salad, potato salad, tuna salad, macaroni salad, etc.
With the exception of Chicken Salad, I find Potato, Tuna and Mac Salad disgusting. Mayo is nasty and I don't like Miracle Whip either.

I've always been very picky in what I eat though. That's why I'm always the last to order at a restaurant.
