As much as it hurts to say it he might be cooked, I think a big part of it is the terrible offensive scheme from Nurse but he's had no real moments of dominance all season and we're pretty much halfway through

Maxey looks terrible too but even he is still at 25 PPG albeit on terrible efficiency

Why did he bulk up? Like after the season he had last year based off his quickness and shooting why was the offseason goal to get stronger?!

Maxey said he wanted to become a better defender which he has but ... he has been better recently tho. PG on the other hand is missing wide open shots, and them shyts not even close

Him and PG were both 40%+ from 3 on very high volume But like I said man this is Philadelphia and we're just an alternate reality unfortunately.

Nick Nurse's default Flip Push set is awful for them both because it's pretty much just on ball screens at the wings and flipping it side to side with no type of backdoor cuts or actions going on. Which leads to alot of standing around, over dribbling and bad shot quality due to the inability to consistently create open looks. PG and Maxey likely tire out at some point during the games from working so hard to generate open looks from all the dribbling and it's affecting their shots.

We didn't run this style of offense last year so I don't know what possessed Nurse to change it up like this, it's terribly slow, boring and inefficient. Until they figure out the offense they'll continue to be a mediocre basketball team at best.

I'm gonna see if I can put together some clips or pictures that show how bad the offense is in a more detailed post.

too bad Nurse doesnt agree. im looking at every shot attempt and they all isolation stepbacks...screen, one dribble, deep two.

I dont see any off ball screens to atleast get him to the FT line (this season is the fewest he's been to the line since year 2 I think he scared of getting hurt) , no flares, nothin...and Nurse is talkin like he cool with it.

Maxey is 39% from deep over his last 10... like i said im not that concerned bout him. Lets see if Morey brings in another pg to help this offense out.

That’s not even factoring in Kelly is shooting like shyt from 3 as well. I’m sorry dawg I gotta keep it a stack. We have one of the most talented centers ever and we’ve made roster building around him fukking rocket science for 10 years.
