Max Martin has the most #1 records of any active producer in music - he's steadily approaching George Martin (The Beatles producer) . . and as a writer he's just behind Paul McCartney and John Lennon

or 2015 Dr. Dre

Who's you going with?

I don't know how good 2015 Dr. Dre is, but I'm assuming that this is a hiphop project so a legendary and huge hiphop producer wins by default.
The fukk would I do with a bubblegum pop producer who produces shytty music, it won't move units to hiphop heads nor the pop radio and I will only get laughed at by hiphop heads.

Now if we're talking about 1 song on some Flo-rida shyt, I might sell out.

Also don't ever compare him to George Martin or Dr. Dre for that matter, Martin has produced some of the best albums of all times and changed music for the better. He's very skilled at making catchy and popular songs but he's not making classic music.

Breh . . Max Martin in 2015 is getting on you on the charts. You don't think he has the capacity to make a hip-hop sound? . . Dre today on the other hand doesn't sound like the Dre sound that we loved

I don't know man . . say you're a creative force involved in the conception of these songs . . don't you think Max Martin can help your project be more lucrative right now?

Don't get me wrong, we all revere Dre very much

ok if im keeping it real it depends on the artist im working with

just having dre's name on credits sells more records, especially in hip hop, than max martin

but max martin is truly a musical genius and can give generic artists a sound that will sell

so it depends but if im talking about myself definitely dre

I know that he has a lot of hits, but most of them are from the biggest artists of the past 20 years with the best writers, other big producers like Dr. Luke, a bunch of money and on .

He apparently wrote a lot of them too, basically the model is the pop music model where the producers basically already have the songs to shop to the artists on some matchmaker shyt . . but I wouldn't be surprised if he has a lot of producers under him and some of that work gets passed up on some . . "let me help you out with that one" :smugfavre:

Max Martin solely for the versatility. He's probably more enthusiastic about making music right now, too.
