A great American actor and a great talent. He is one of the biggest contributors to television in the past 50 years. He gave multiple classics to us and was a great entertainer. It was also good to have a positive light hearted show in the south in the midst of the civil rights era. My father was a very big fan of his. May he rest in peace.
