I would take both but not together. Do matcha for 2 wks then switch it up to green tea for a couple of wks. Or you could alternate them monthly. I put matcha powder in my smoothies almost everyday. it really has staying power. I have a lot of mental clarity and amazing focusing abilities all the way till the end of my work day. And the green tea does the same, and it also has great fat burning properties. That's why I say continue to take both because they are equally beneficial.
