Look, lets stop taking ESPN's word on what players plan to do once Free Agency hits. They don't know shyt, and if it was really a done deal that anything was decided? We'd know and we'd have heard it from the horses mouth. The horse (Kevin Durant) has only said he'll test the waters when the time comes.
Now, anyone with a brain can tell that KD wants to win a title. Those same people understand he has no chance in OKC to win over San Antonio or Golden State. San Antonio has re-upped and is gonna be a problem for the forseeable future. Golden State is also a very young team. So OKC is never gonna be relevant no matter how many regular season wins they get.
This also means that Durant to LA or Houston make even less sense than staying put
LETS NOT FORGET, OKC JUST LOST BY 32PTS
As long as the trend continues? KD will be looking to the east my brotha to the east (ya sissy'eeeeee)
We all know Cleveland is the only team, and we all know Tyrone Lue is not an elite coach
So how the fukk is bron and co. gonna beat the west in the finals? Its not gonna happen. Scott Brooks could out coach that team, KD knows this
Now the Wizards are a fantastic team, they got the pieces and they can keep them ALL and sign KD
People say why would he go to a team that isn't as good as OKC
KD in DC makes DC elite. IF there was two KD's, his DC based team would spank OKC.
So in conclusion, KD can't win in the west unless he actually went to Golden State. But he would have to adjust his game and wouldn't be the dominant player he is today. He's too good to be a D wade/sidekick. As long as S.A. continues to dominate, KD is a lock to come back home this summer.
I would love if you fine gentleman can poke holes in my calculated conclusion, because I seriously can't see it going down any other way. And I'm not even a fan of this happening. I just know it is tho
