From a hip hip standpoint, this is an embarrassing comparison. Reasonable Doubt is one of the best albums from one of the best emcees in hip hop history.

From a commercial standpoint, who gives a f*ck?

Asinine comparison, but taking my favorite album of all time in Reasonable Doubt. Harlem World is good, but it wouldn’t even crack my top 100.

Gotta love the ridiculous opinion that nobody was bumping RD, when it sold the same as many other classics around the time.

This is the stupidest argument ever.
Goodfellas was like the 40th highest grossing film of 1990. You don’t hear anyone arguing that Young Guns 2 was superior.
The Wire was extremely low rated when it was on. Is anyone putting Without A Trace above it?
Van Gogh was never popular when he was alive.
Even if RD had only sold a dozen copies it has no bearing on its quality or especially how it’s viewed today.
