Zuckerberg says most companies need more ‘masculine energy’

Mark Zuckerberg lamented the rise of “culturally neutered” companies that have sought to distance themselves from “masculine energy,” adding that it’s good if a culture “celebrates the aggression a bit more.”

“Masculine energy I think is good, and obviously society has plenty of that, but I think that corporate culture was really trying to get away from it,” Zuckerberg said during a nearly three-hour-long conversation with podcaster Joe Rogan published on Friday.
“It’s like you want feminine energy, you want masculine energy,” Zuckerberg said during the episode of The Joe Rogan Experience. “I think that that’s all good. But I do think the corporate culture sort of had swung toward being this somewhat more neutered thing,” he added, before discussing his passions for mixed martial arts and hunting invasive pigs in Hawaii.

Zuckerberg, who launched his career by rating the attractiveness of women at Harvard University, added that he grew up with three sisters and has three daughters, and wants women to succeed in corporations.

“If you’re a woman going into a company, it probably feels like it’s too masculine. It’s — there isn’t enough of the energy that you may naturally have,” he told Rogan. “You want women to be able to succeed and have companies that can unlock all the value from having great people no matter what their background or gender.”

Not sure why yall surprised.

He's aging and his lack of a defined personality being pointed out to him on what must be a minimum of a 1x a day.

He has also been spending time with owners in the MMA world like Dana white. With all due respect, I cannot think of any white MMA fighter that hasn't given off strong racist energy or been saying that shyt on and off the record.

Couple that in with the fact that he's an authoritarian at his multibilliondollar company, it was only a matter of time until he pivoted to the right.

Wealth is addictive. Authority is addictive. The addicts have now taken over and are calling the shots. But too many people are addicted to the things these addicts created. It's a vicious feedback loop of people hating a thing but not being willing to give up the dopamine they get when posting righteous indignation. They're addicted to the instant feedback.

The only way to get out of this is for people to migrate to alternative platforms. I only learned yesterday that there's an alternative to Instagram which meta is actively trying to suppress.

People don't like Twitter so they're moving to bluesky. The federal government who--i cannot stress this enough--have 401k style pensions and hold hundreds of thousands of dollars worth ETFs, mutual funds, and index funds that have money invested in these companies--stand to PERSONALLY lose money if these businesses continue to tank in the stock market. These CEOs and politicians have been compromised due to the long term effects of hoarding money and having the authority without accountability.

It starts with us though, we have to consider using other platforms. These guys will not stop unless they start bleeding users. Eventually the advertisers will dip and start pushing ads on the competing platforms and making more money.

As long as everyone still has to use their sorry-to-bother-you-kanye-west-calabasas-accents at work ain’t no “return of masculinity”

Always high pitched people talking about “where has the masculinity gone?”

None of these people helped humanity
