It's the same problem with the X-men. They can't just bring them in. They need to bring them in so it makes sense in the story as to why we never heard anything about them.

The female Silver Surfer rumor might make sense now. If this is an alternate universe they might meet a different version of the Surfer and Galactus.

Reed fails to save his universe but ends up in the MCU where familiar events play out but now he has to deal with a world of superpowers.


Maybe Doom killed MCU Reed.

This whole production has been rumors and non-confirmed speculation for a year because they started from scratch after the initial director left.

Add in the Kang drama and yeah Doom has been mentioned in multitude of ways.

They've already established that there's been 100s of superpowered beings and wild things happened pre-Iron Man that were never heard about before. That's in their own continuity.

X-Men is easily accomplished as well. X-Men don't give AF about world events, historically. They only cared about mutant issues. Hell, X-Men's history in comics, and even with Fox's own continuity established that mutants have been around forever. Just as long as there are very few mutants and they are isolated, the world doesn't really care. Now make it an explosion of mutants....or even one moment that for some reason, now went viral so now "everyone cares." Done.

I can see them jumping right into that and using Kang as leverage to bring them from the 60's to the present timeline along with the avengers.

60s has the potential to be cool and a nice chance to differentiate the next phase. I wonder if they’ll do straight up 60s or another retro future thing like the TVA on Loki.

Lots of good sound track choices for 60s too. They have a good chance to do something good for this one.
