The Thing looks and sounds weird but it isn't super jarring. Gonna need to see more from Pedro before I come to any conclusions. Other than that, I'm fukking with the aesthetic/tone of it overall
1000% agree- I expected a more gruff sounding voice for Ben Grimm and Thing needs to be bigger and thiccer

It was actually a swerve, some shenanigans where Reed had to masquerade as Dr Doom but the F4 couldn't tell the rest of the world... so you got the Avengers, Spider-Man, etc pulling up like what the fukk is going on.. and the F4 basically being like mind ya business; Sue marrying this man lol
To be honest, some issues were captivating and others were confusing as fukk with what Claremont was tryna do. Granted i had to have been like 10 so i'd probably have to re-read that arc to understand.
But i remember that immediately after the arc, Claremont had Sue vacationing in the ocean (w/o reed) and damn near about to fukk Namor

Reed is kinda like Cyclops. Left to conventional cookie-cutter story devices... both can seem corny as fukk and, worse, cucks to other heroes/villains plowing their wives.
However, if you channel that darker "by any means necessary" IDGAF side of them? Illuminati Reed and militant Cyclops become incredibly intense and complex, fun characters. To me, Reed is actually the most interesting of the F4 because of that side of him.
