ok, so character like Wolverine, Deadpool and the Hulk regenerate.

i've seen Deadpool regenerate his whole body from just his hand.

i've seen Wolverine ripped in half from the waste down and find his legs to get it together...but why would he need to find his legs?...anyway...

Hulk can get nuked to ashes and come back (Future Imperfect).

what if you cut Deadpool in half...head to crouch?

you would have two perfect halves that would both regenerate the same way...same with Wolverine and Hulk.

this would be most possible with Deadpool of course due to the fact that his body is not as immune to damage.

what i'm trying to say is that Deadpool could just keep on cutting himself in half and make more and more of himself...is this possible.

Nah, it doesn't work like that. Cutting Deadpool in half from the waste down would only regenerate the lower half or in some cases just reattach them and stitch his body back together. People with healing factors can't make clones.

I was thinking of a right way to answer this, but I can't.

I mean, there was a bad guy running around that was made of nothing but Deadpool's lost body parts and pieces.

So theoretically...

That was a different Wolverine, though. Ultimate Universe Wolverine, who looked like a tall puerto rican or something.

Deadpool needs to locate his body parts to regen.
i.e. if you blow off his arm with a shotgun, he has to go pick it up and hold it next to his arm stump and then it'll reattach.

Usually this is done for comedic effect... but its abided by pretty strictly.

Wolverine on the other hand can regenerate however the writers feel like. Since so many different writers have their hands on him they just let him do whatever. Its one reason why he is a tertible character to me.

I've never seen Hulk lose a body part. Even a hair or toenail. He has been shot in the chest with military tanks. So idk...

Wolverine's mutant ability spans beyond regeneration. Its closer to immortality. At one point every muscle and piece of flesh was burned off of him. His brain, heart, lungs, everything. All he was at that point was a pile of bones and metal. But from the bones and metal his nervous system, circulatory system, heart, brain, lungs, balls, everything... regenerated. Including his memories. He understood english and how to walk, etc despite his entire brain being destroyed.

Wolverine is one of the worst characters in marvel.

I won't sit idly and just let this blatant Wolverine slander go unchecked.:pacspit::camby:

First off, Wolverine's regenerative capabilities lie within the cells of his brain, to which, in this very panel, you can CLEARLY see is protected by unbreakable adamantium skull. So you already automatically stated a fallacy within your "argument" stating that his brain was destroyed. It was not.:umad: This just one reason why YOU'RE a terrible character.:martin:

2ndly, it's this smorgasbord of writers' fault for characters like him having "inconsistencies" within his durability and healing factor/regen properties. Such as with a multitude of other comic book characters receiving upgrades over the years, he long since got a boost to his healing once the adamantium was ripped from his bones and then reattached properly by Apocalypse later. Writers change the rules up all the time and they throw Wolverine thru the blender of physical calamities just to showcase how thorough he is as a character and how much torture he can go thru and come back from it.

FYI, Hulk has also had similar sorts of damage done unto him only to regen from it just the same. If you ain't seen it happen, well then it's just your own damn fault.:smugbiden::steviej:

:skip:

Even though you are being sarcastic, his actual power is far worse than you realize cause its not stored in his brain. He can regenerate from a single drop of blood.
