Tyler Perry was dropping dimes on this one

- I cultivated my Black fans, I nurtured my Black audience. They took care of me, I took care of them
- We always get some establishment symbol, and we end up running from the culture
- Every OTHER race/culture comes into our community rapes and mines everything we have and take it out
- When Segregation ended, alot of Black Businesses ended
- Black businesses did so much better under Segregation because we were forced to Buy from each other
- Integration is good. But what I'm hoping that we remembered that if we can now go everywhere else, why not go back to Us?

T.I.
- I feel the Integration that Dr. Martin Luther King was fighting for, turned out to bite the Black community in the ass

This is a great podcast interview :ehh:

Both of them grew up where they could go to any public bathroom, sit anywhere they wanted on public transpo that they paid for, buy in any neighborhood they wanted etc so I'm gonna hit em with a look at the whole picture.
If your money was integrated you should be too.

Integration gave black folks a choice, and its up to individuals to choose to have other black folks back or not. Everybody else had a choice but black folk.
But in the end money usually gonna beat out race cause folks gotta eat and a lot sold cause they saw greener pastures.

If we were still segregated in 2022 these nikkas would be preaching differently.

T.I. didn't read the entire quote for context.

“I’ve come upon something that disturbs me deeply. We have fought hard and long for integration, as I believe we should have, and I know we will win, but I have come to believe that we are integrating into a burning house. I’m afraid that America has lost the moral vision she may have had, and I’m afraid that even as we integrate, we are walking into a place that does not understand that this nation needs to be deeply concerned with the plight of the poor and disenfranchised. Until we commit ourselves to ensuring that the underclass is given justice and opportunity, we will continue to perpetuate the anger and violence that tears the soul of this nation. I fear I am integrating my people into a burning house.

This is why the US government set him up to be killed.

It was always believed, well from pragmatist and believers of capitalism, that the great equalizer would be the free markets.

that some how, some way race would cease to exist Because dollar signs would reign supreme. Not knowing that self- reliance on both fronts would be the dominant factor.

Minorities would lose that dependency on each other. And whites control on industries would be reframed to maintain their power.

My thoughts on integration are quite nasty to some so I won't type them. But I will say blacks we're not ready for full on integration especially that generation.
We certainly weren’t ready and it certainly hasn’t gone well but I still think it was for the best. Any separate black state inside this country would have been wiped out after the bloody ass reconstruction period. Even more so today with military grade artillery weapons easily available on the black markets.

Basic Economic theory also says that black people need to take in dollars from non-black people to actually grow. It’s one thing to circulate the same low amount of dollars amongst ourselves but you need to take money in from others to balance wealth. The cacs would have no problem throwing us in some of the empty isolated shytholes like you see in rural america all over and letting us slum it up.
