Martian Manhunter Will Be In "League" - Dark Horizons
Harry Lennix has confirmed to Collider that he will appear as alien superhero Martian Manhunter in Zack Snyder’s forthcoming recut of “Justice League” as an event series.
Lennix played General Swanwick in “Man of Steel” and was to originally appear briefly in “Justice League” shooting scenes where he reveals Swanwick to be Martian Manhunter.
Lennix is also a regular on NBC’s “The Blacklist” and never properly filmed his scenes for the “Justice League” theatrical cut. Following Warner Bros. Pictures greenlit the extra shooting for the new miniseries, Lennix confirmed he has shot the necessary footage for the role.
The new version of ‘League’ will reportedly cost around $70 million in order to finish editing and visual effects in line with the director’s original vision.
HBO Max will air it in four one-hour parts with a release expected in March.
