The husband of a teacher who sent a sex act video to a 15-year-old pupil has vowed to “stand by” his wife, it is reported.
Kandice Barber, 35, was found guilty on Tuesday of sending a sexual video to the pupil on Snapchat that showed her performing a graphic act – but faces a retrial on child sex charges.
Barber, who has three school-age children of her own, was also found guilty of sending the boy a topless photo, The Sun reports.
A married teacher had sex with a 15-year-old student in her 'favourite' sex position and sent him topless pictures, a court heard today.
Kandice Barber, 35, of Wendover, Buckinghamshire, is accused of having sex with the teenager in a field and sending him topless pictures and a video of herself on Snapchat.
Aylesbury Crown Court heard that the mother of three allegedly told the student that he had a bigger penis than her husband and told him she was pregnant with his baby.
She fell pregnant quickly in October, when she is alleged to have been having sex with the teen pupil, the court was told
Mr Barber said: "She gave me a box. It was a pregnancy test to confirm she was pregnant.”
Barber is accused of having sex with him three times after initially sending him messages over Snapchat in September 2018.

Mr Barber, seen smiling with his wife during their first wedding dance, claimed that in October 2018 she informed him that she was pregnant. Barber suffered an ectopic pregnancy a month later

The court heard that Barber, a mother-of-three, had a meeting with the school headteacher in January to address the rumours, but didn't disclose details of it to her husband, Daniel. They were married in August 2016 and have five children between them
----
Despite the outcome at Aylesbury Crown Court, it has been reported that Barber’s husband Daniel, who called the teaching assistant his “rock”, would not be ending their marriage.
A family source told the Mail Online: “A lot of people are probably wondering why Daniel is standing by her.
“But that’s none of their business. They’re still very much together, I can assure you of that.
“I can understand why people might find it strange because a lot of men wouldn’t have put up with these allegations.”
The source explained the couple were going through a “difficult period” when the claims were made.
“But now they just want to live their lives and sort out their problems.”
The court heard how one text from Barber compared the student’s manhood to her husband’s.
DEVOTED HUSBAND and MOTHER
But the devoted husband, 38, has accompanied his wife to court each day during her trial – even giving evidence on her behalf.
The dad-of-two, who worked night shifts at a supermarket before starting work for a delivery firm, denied the pair were going through a rocky patch at the time of the incident.
In a statement provided to police, Daniel described Barber, who has three boys aged 15, 13 and 10 from two previous relationships, as his “rock”, adding: “Around this time I was having a rough time at work, my new job at the supermarket was not going well and I was feeling a bit down.
“I felt frustrated, deflated and I would whinge and moan to Kandice, she was always very supportive, she would talk to me about work and would always speak positively towards me. She would tell me I was a good man and valuable to this family.
“My downer about work did not effect our relationship, it did not cause us to argue. Kandice was my rock throughout this time.”
He told the court the accusation was that she had sex with a pupil at school.
“She said someone had gone into her Snapchat and removed personal photos, she said it was 'for my eyes only.' She did have a collection of intimate photos on her phone.”
When asked whether he knew at the time why his wife was being arrested in March 2019, he said: "She works in a school, I kind of guessed it, it wasn't hard."
Barber was asked whether he spoke to his wife about why she was arrested when he picked her up from the police station, to which he replied: "There was so much that happened in the daytime, we were talking about it but it wasn't making any sense what we were talking about."
He added: "She said there were pictures and that there was communication between them, the boy and herself."
It's been claimed Kandice Barber met up for sex romps with the boy on three occasions in a field, woodland and in her 4x4 car.
“She had told me she had been communicating with him, she said she was helping him out with his issues.
“She said someone had gone into her Snapchat and removed personal photos, she said it was ‘for my eyes only’. She did have a collection of intimate photos on her phone,” her husband said.

The defendant's mum Dawn Green (left) also spoke in court
Jurors heard how her mum Dawn Green told cops the teacher had admitted sending Snacpchat messages to the lad but denied any “intimacy”.
Nervous Mrs Green told Aylesbury Crown Court: "Kandice told me she had been arrested and it was something to do with a student at school. She did not go into any details, she told me it happened in October 2019.
"Kandice confirmed there had been no intimacy but she had been Snapchatting him for a few weeks. She said ‘I know I have been silly mum’ and I agreed with her and told her she had been silly.
"I asked her to swear on her life nothing had happened and she did swear in her life."
Mrs Green said she had been “flabbergasted" when her daughter was arrested and understood it was something to do with a student harassing her.
When asked whether she had known that her daughter had topless pictures on her phone, she replied: "It would not surprise me, I have photographs of myself topless too."
On Wednesday the jury heard how on September 30 2018 she searched "what is the name of someone you are having an affair with?" and the word "alibi" before Googling seconds later "when you have a plan of where you have been."
The next day, the defendant is said to have searched "a lie of where you have been" before later looking up "good secluded areas," and "Holiday Inn, Wycombe."
In the witness box, Barber gave her explanation for her actions.
She said: "I was up at 5am as my mum and I were going to set up a car boot sale.
INAPPROPRIATE TEXTS
One schoolboy claimed he saw messages from Barber, asking: “Do you prefer boobs or bum?”
He also told jurors one message detailed arousing one another in class “without the others (pupils) knowing”.
One schoolboy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, told a jury on Thursday: “I was shocked that it even had started. I thought it was something that only happened in the newspapers.”
The student said he was told that Barber had sex with her alleged lover and that she told him she was on the pill, so he did not wear a condom, the court heard.
The married mum has also been accused of sending the teenager a string of texts where she complimented him on his penis size.
And in another, the teacher said she wanted to play a game to see who could be “horniest” while she the pair were in class, a court heard.
He also told jurors one said: "When I’m teaching you, let’s see if we can make each other the horniest we can without the others knowing."
The witness said that Barber had told her 15-year-old student that she had “had a dream about [him]” before exchanging details on his phone.
The schoolboy witness said: “Next morning, he showed me messages of her sending him messages including ‘morning’, and stuff like that. He seemed pretty chilled about it, as if it was like just another girl.
“One time, we were in English and she was teaching another class. She sent him a picture of her teaching."
Summing up the case today as the jury went out to deliberate, Judge Francis Sheridan said: 'We saw the conversation between her and her husband and what he said there about her ''favourite position'' being doggy-style.'
Jurors had previously been told the boy claimed they had sex in the same position while speaking to police.
The jury was also told that the student had gone to see Barber in her office several times and left claiming they had been kissing.
In March 2019, during a police inverted, another student claimed to have seen the pair go into her office and also spotted them talking in hallways.
He had not believed rumours of the pairs affair until he saw pictures.
Topless pictures sent to the student from Barber were allegedly spread throughout the school and eventually made their way to the headteacher, the court heard previously.
The witness said: “There was one time we were having lunch in the sports hall, when [the complainant] went outside to the closed off bit on the stairs. He came back and told us they had kissed and talked a bit.”
