I was envolved every time I got a new ring. If you are big on quality of the diamond and not the size, don't go to these Kays or jareds, go to a actual jeweler. Do your research and don't buy anything online.

Yeah ive been doing a lot of research online about how to examine it in store, what the different gradings mean etc.

Breh, didn't involve the wife but instead I involved the wife's best friend. Came thru in the clutch.

She did some recon for a breh. Got the size, shape/ metal desired and design wanted. Wife didn't suspect a thing.

As for budget, the biggest thing was ROI (plus a nikka's pockets were tight). Though she don't know, my wife's ring is worth almost 4x what I paid.

No offense to anyone but I'm never buying a diamond from a white man or a white orgianization/ company. They go to Africa/ impoverished countries and rape us of resources then jack up the prices here.

Everyone has different opinions on what's important to them in a diamond, I'd just make sure to get one that's conflict-free in the end.
