Mark Walberg will always be Marky Mark, the garbage rapper who once got to much unnecessary attention in the early 90's. Marky Mark was a slap in the face of Hip Hop because his song Good Vibration was a nationwide hit meanwhile Big Daddy Kane, Brand Nubians and Kool G Rap hardly got any radio airplay. It didnt sit right when Marky mark was getting all that attention via mainstream top 40 BS. Real Hip Hop heads never acknowledged him and he was soon dismissed as a corny New Kid On The Block fame riding affiliate doing Calvin Clein ads. Marky Mark was affiliated with no one in Hip Hop. When Marky Mark tried to ride with Shabba Ranks he couldnt handle the ride and was destroyed as a fake rap-pop star.
He would later try movies and I remember when the movie "Fear" dropped I gave dude an A for effort for atleast still trying even tho he was official fall off status. After Boggie Nights, Marky Mark was reborn as Mark Walberg. Marky mark was given a 2nd chance. He had to dismiss Marky Mark completely which he would later do and thats why I will always acknowledge Em taking a shot at Marky Mark right at his transition to Mark Walberg on MTV when TRL paired them together for that one moment.
In conclusion.....fukk Marky Mark. He was a New Kid On The Block spin off that should have never been affiliated with hip Hop.
Marky Mark jacked Tribe for that beat and got more airplay. That was just all types of wrong.
