Powell’s POV: Bennett and Maria have been expected to make the jump to WWE ever since they opted against re-signing with Impact Wrestling. The move to have them debut on the main roster rather than at NXT is not a major surprise given that Maria has WWE history and the real life husband and wife could easily be slotted into the Total Divas reality series. Bennett benefitted from more exposure during his one year with TNA, and Maria quickly proved that she was one of the best talkers in the company.
