I don't understand that ish either. I did a half marathon a few years ago and 13.1 is the furthest I've ran, and the furthest I'll ever run.
How about walking a marathon? Be careful though, you can die from walking too much.
I've walked over 25 miles a few times shyt sucks but hey I got a belt buckle
I've ran one marathon. I did it with my wife cause she really wanted to do it. Never again. It's cool to say you did it and there is a great sense of accomplishment after your done but it takes a big toll on your body.
If you look at most of the older runners who been running marathons for a while you'll see are the deformities in there body. They'll be running looking all lopsided. I'm good with that.

I never understood it myself. I just want to run one 5k just to say I did and I am good.

I just spoke to a guy who won a 50k (31 mile) trail run. He said he has a addictive personality and he rather be doing trails than some other negative vice.
