I don't understand that ish either. I did a half marathon a few years ago and 13.1 is the furthest I've ran, and the furthest I'll ever run.

I've ran one marathon. I did it with my wife cause she really wanted to do it. Never again. It's cool to say you did it and there is a great sense of accomplishment after your done but it takes a big toll on your body.

If you look at most of the older runners who been running marathons for a while you'll see are the deformities in there body. They'll be running looking all lopsided. I'm good with that.

outside of just challenging yourself why in the hell would you do this ornultra races.
I just spoke to a guy who won a 50k (31 mile) trail run. He said he has a addictive personality and he rather be doing trails than some other negative vice.
