Finished the second part last night - pretty good opening show all in. Looks/feels just like TNA honestly which is not bad thing but just stood out... I guess Scott really likes red and black
Takeshyta/Alexander was good, but Takeshyta and Speedball had match of the weekend IMO
worth seeking out.
Athena/Giselle had a really good match on night 2.
Lots of Indian/Middle Eastern talent between Classy Ali, Raj Dhesi (Jinder), Raj Singh, Bhupinder Gujjar, Rohit Raju and Rohan Raja. Interesting to see they're paired up with Qatar Pro Wrestling and Oceania Pro Wrestling but I had no idea either existed until now.
I don't get Kylie Rae honestly, but looks like they're going to make a big deal of her.
Feels like Jake Something is their "main character" the way he was presented... didn't win the big one, like Hangman losing to Jericho.
Bully Ray was on good heel form as per usual - he can barely move, but he barely has to do anything for the crowd to get hot. He did multiple indiefied comedy "Wassup" spots that he would be absolutely shredding AEW/WWE for allowing on his podcast - took a headbutt in the balls from a
referee on night one and Harley Cameron on night two.
Mauro byke
Low-key hilarious to see him getting up to pace with how wrestling has changed over the last 4 years live on air, but he got into a good groove in the end. He did a better job announcing upcoming AEW programming than Excalibur has for years
