Man with half face cast as Eric Draven in Crow Remake

Well, it looks like this one has been confirmed. Dread Central caught up with The Crow creator James O'Barr who confirmed Jack Huston has been cast as the lead in the remake. "Jack Huston has definitely been cast," he told them. He is "really happy with that choice." Expect The Crow remake to go into production soon.

I am very happy with this choice. I hope this version is closer to the comic than the OG, which is still one of my fav movies of all time. Better not fukk it up....

When oh when will they get some new ideas in Hollywood...Crow 94 is so much Brandon Lee that every time they did a sequel it didn't feel right or make any money and to try and recreate the comic on screen sends us to Sin City/The Spirit territory and we saw how #2 turned out

possibly, I was just happy cause he was the best thing in boardwalk IMO, and dont think i have seen him in anything else to really judge his acting chops for the role

edit:also, people thought Brandon Lee was a terrible choice for the 94 movie, so Ill wait to judge this

Glad to see Jack Huston getting work but there is no need for them to remake the Crow over. This is just a money grab by people who have run out of ideas for new movies.

He had been in plenty of B-action movies. He was basically just a low-rent direct to video action movie star at the time. Always thought he had charisma though. Showdown in Little Tokyo with Dolph Lundgren was entertaining.

I was just thinking of Rapid Fire which I used to love....forgot about that Dolph movie, may have to check that out.

brandon would have gone on to better things...showdown in little Tokyo and rapid fire were heat..dude had that it factor..the OG crow was outstanding..nothing is going to top that
