I remember hearing this shyt premiere on sirius years ago, and the first time I heard that shyt, I was like  :ooh: :lawd: :ohlawd: :gladbron: :noah: :ahh: and :dj2: all at the same time. They played it like 3 times in a row that day. I knew this song was gonna be classic right from the jump. years later, I still will NEVER skip this song when it plays on the iphone randomly.

it's amazing how Sean C & LV didn't really come up off doing most of that album

they should have blown up, but lets be reality, none of the hitmen really blew up after leaving bad boy, even tho most of them were nice as hell. I mean they still got work, but they didn't get to a swizz beatz or timbaland level.

The fact that AG had no big singles and was Jay's least mainstream album since RD probably kept them from getting a lot of shine

and the fact that they were under the Diddy & The Hitmen brand... I think the credits went like produced by Diddy, Sean C, & LV for The Hitmen

American Gangster is the most underrated album in Jay-Z's catalog. Jay sounded more focus on this album than he did on the albums before it. The production by The Hitmen was great.

Here's Sean C and LV talking about music and showing how they made that song:

This is another great interview of theirs too:

I'm surprised Hov don't perform this song at his concerts..I mean he performed it when he was promoting the album..but after that he just forgot that shyt exist..:scusthov:

This shyt along with the video was black excellence at its finest..this should be one of his signature records to perform..but that's just me..
