I guarantee you the first and foremost message was "Name names on stage or shut the hell up!", the rest are dressing to give it a sense of "legitimacy" or plausible deniability should they be called out on it.

It's been an open secret that Hollywood has been infested with pedophiles since forever. Look at how they stood and applauded for Roman Polanski.

Just because you don't like the messenger or even the original intent it doesn't nullify the message.
