I actually love this movie but I have gotten very strict about media that insults Black people. I always had a twinge of apprehension about some scenes but overall I chalked it up to good clean fun and I imagined Kennedy was truly a fan and it was some ironic expression of his real life experience tryna be "down" ...
Watching it right now and I am truly torn about how to take it. Ultimately I still like it. Almost in spite of Kennedy. On the low the black actors play personal classic roles.
From a man who will never watch QT again because he used "niqqer" every 90 seconds in Django. Never seen Django.
