"Our people were brought here on chains forcibly not on the may flower but in slaveships to add to the American economy and we've been exploited politically , economically and otherwise ever since "
Quote from the latter part of the video but I thought that could accurately summarize what Malcolm was trying to convey throughout the whole debate , but MLK's mans was ecstatic at the fact that they protested and was allowed access to their movie theaters and other establishments and settling for jobs in the white mans economy instead of building their own establishments .... :why: the ideologies of these cats are so detrimental and the diminishing wealth of blacks in 2015 is evident of that .. had we not applied Malcolms ideas into the our ultimate goal in the prosperity of blacks who knows how shyt would turn out .... smh just watch the whole video .

MLK had a much better solution than Malcolm.
I kind of do to to an extent, especially towards his demise when he took a more militant stance .. I think MLK was more of the key for the access and Malcolm was going to be the one to enforce cats to really get shyt popping in terms of building once they got in ... they were both necessary more less

Malcolm was a mouthpiece who said a lot of truths and a few things that were wrong.

MLK was a mouthpiece who said a lot of truths and a few things that were wrong.

Difference is Malcolm could never come up with the Poor Peoples Campaign nor could he mobilize people like Martin.

People forget Malcolm was not a leader, Malcolm was only a mouth piece for Elijah. Literally Malcolm has never put together any type of movement of large #s. When Malcolm left the NOI his group he tried to start flopped something awful.

You don't know that because once Malcolm came back from Mecca his mindstate was more clear and he would have formulated more shyt as time went on if he didn't get assassinated , MLK realized what time it was when he created the PPC but it was too late

But the PPC is still integration just with reparations......NOI would have been against it.

When did he not talk about economics? I don't buy this.
MLK pushed for integration and used Economics as a weapon to get it, so sure you can make that argument. It wasn't until his last yrs post meeting with Elijah he got on the whole "My dream is a nightmare" mentality. MLK met with Elijah in 1966.

But the nightmare wasn't integration, it was lack of reparations which made his original approach exploitable. I've never read of Elijah holding that position, only DuBois was on that track of thinking.
