I'm really curious to find out what happened to Deweys actor now.

As far as I know, nothing bad happened to him. He just retired from acting after Malcolm in the Middle and he has no interest in coming back or even being seen in public. Most of the cast members haven't heard from him in a while, but he's married with a kid now and according to Jane Kaczmarek, he's studying (or was studying) literature in college.
