I'm not familiar with her story, can someone explain what she has DONE for peace? I mean yes her story has raised awareness and she's done speaches but...how many schools have been built, has the situation changed on the ground?

I'd rather have someone like that Congolese doctor who has actually treated thousands of rape victims in Eastern Congo and escaped an assassination plot last year. And he's still there.

The Guardian did this list yesterday, gives info on other people they think should be candidates, imo there are other candidates quite worthy. Obviously this is only The Guardian's list (lol at Rodman).

True the Congolese doctor should get one too. No doubt.

I've been hearing she's the favourite, especially with all these high profile interviews and her book releasing today.

Here's a short doc by Adam Ellick who got to know her and her family in 2009, 3 years before she got shot and when she had just started getting famous.

One of the better interviews of this week

I like her a lot, but I'm less thrilled with some of the elements here trying to attach themselves to her or direct her narrative.
