Making a 70's run from this list - 140 Favorite 1970s Movies

I own 28 out of the top 50, so not including some of the most obvious.

Went thru HBO, Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, Paramount, Showtime, and added the ones available to stream for free if you have subscription.

HBO Max dominates the 70's movies, Netflix 0 of the ones I don't have. Some of these I've probably seen but don't remember or it's been a long time.

Marathon Man is a great movie. Read the book if you haven't, it's really good.

The author also wrote The Boys From Brazil, made a movie as well..

Last night I gave a lot of them 30 minutes, couldn't get thru most of them. Marathon Man I did see before but it's been awhile.

Here's what I have left from that list:

HBO Max
Stalker - Andrei Tarkovsky movie, great director. Have to devote time to this one, long one - This one has a 100/92 at Rotten Tomatoes
The film tells the story of an expedition led by a figure known as the "Stalker" (Alexander Kaidanovsky), who takes his two clients—a melancholic writer (Anatoly Solonitsyn) seeking inspiration, and a professor (Nikolai Grinko) seeking scientific discovery—to a mysterious restricted site known simply as the "Zone", where there supposedly exists a room which grants a person's innermost desires.

Picnic at Hanging Rock - have seen this one before, interesting film
The Last Detail - early Jack Nicholson movie
Dirty Harry - probably have seen this one many times, been awhile
Solaris - Andrei Tarkovsky movie again, already own this one. This one was remade as well
Jeanne Dielman, 23 Commerce Quay, 1080 Brussels - this one I've seen before, it's a relaxing movie, could put you to sleep
